Buyer Agreement

This Buyer Agreement applies to users who browse, save, contact sellers, or otherwise use CarSwipe AI™ to find vehicles ("Buyer," "you," or "your"). By using Buyer features, you agree to this Agreement in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Marketplace disclaimer

CarSwipe AI™ is a marketplace platform only. We do not own, inspect, sell, finance, or guarantee vehicles listed by Sellers or Dealers. Listings are provided by third parties.

2. Independent inspections

  • You should inspect any vehicle in person before purchasing.
  • Consider a pre-purchase inspection by a qualified mechanic.
  • Do not rely solely on photos, descriptions, AI summaries, or seller statements.

3. Vehicle verification

  • Verify VIN, title, odometer reading, ownership documents, and lien status.
  • Review vehicle history reports from reputable providers where appropriate.
  • Confirm that the seller has authority to transfer the vehicle.

4. Payment responsibility

  • You are responsible for payment terms negotiated with the Seller or Dealer.
  • Be cautious of wire fraud, fake escrow services, and requests for unusual payment methods.
  • CarSwipe AI™ is not responsible for off-platform payments unless expressly stated in a future feature.

5. Meeting safely

  • Meet in public, well-lit locations for test drives and inspections when possible.
  • Bring a friend or family member when meeting private sellers.
  • Do not share unnecessary personal or financial information.

6. Fraud awareness

  • Be skeptical of deals that seem too good to be true.
  • Avoid sending deposits to unknown parties without proper safeguards.
  • Report suspicious listings or messages to support@carswipe.ai.

7. Communications

If you provide your phone number or request notifications, you may receive transactional messages as described in our Privacy Policy and SMS Messaging Terms.

8. No professional advice

Information on the Platform, including AI Content, is not legal, mechanical, financing, or appraisal advice.
